Integral Coach Factory Recruitment 2018: Way back earlier this month on 2nd July 2018, Chief personnel officer from the office of the Principal to enrich skill India programme prepared a recruitment Notification no. APP / 02 / 2018. According to which, integral coach factory, Chennai (having official website www.icf.indianrailways.gov.in) has published a recruitment notification of total 707 vacancies online.

There are three basic educational qualifications required for Integral Coach Factory Recruitment 2018 –

• Candidate should have successfully passed in 10th class.
• Applicant should have passed in 12th class.
• A volunteer should have NTC (National Trade Certificate) in hand.

Still, there is a small variation in Ex-ITI and Freshers Educational Qualifications as in official notification.

For example, for a fitter, electrical & machinist vacancy, a candidate should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) with Science & Maths under 10+2 system or its equivalent and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCTE).

Period of training is 1 year for all the trades falling under the category of Ex-ITI i.e. Programming and System Admin. Assistant; Carpenter, Welder, MMTM (Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance); and fitter, electrician and Machinist. In case of freshers, there is 1 Year 3 months training for welder; 2 years training for carpenter and painter; 2 years training for fitter, electrician, machinist; and 6 months training for MLT (Radiology & Pathology).

The apprentice training will commence on the 1st of October 2018. (1st of April 2019 for the second batch of medical apprentices). That means final Merit List OR Result of Integral Coach Factory Recruitment 2018 will be made available on the official website before 01.10..2018.

How to select the vacancies in Integral Coach Factory Recruitment 2018?

At the time of filling up of an online application form, fresher candidates will have the option for allotment of trade. Once a selected request for change of trade will not be entertained. In respect of Ex-ITI quota, they will be trained in the trade in which they are in possession of ITI Certificate.
