Indian Oil Corporation Limited is going to commence the online registration process for the 40 vacancies in Paradip Refinery, Odisha on 1st August. Interested candidates can submit their applications on the website www.iocl.com. Candidates need to submit their form before the last date – 21st August (5 PM).

IOCL Recruitment 2018 Selection Methodology

To recruit the best staff, corporation will conduct a written examination first and then skill/ proficiency/ physical test will be conducted. For the selection, candidates need to score at least 40% marks in written examination. SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates need to score 35 % marks minimum. After the written test, candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:2 with the posts (two candidates for one post). Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the another level.

Age Limit: Applicant’s maximum age can be 26 years and minimum age 18 years as on 31st July 2018. SC/ ST candidates will get 5 years of age relaxation while OBC candidates can avail three years of age relaxation. 10 years of age relaxation (15 years for SC/ST & 13 years for OBC) will be given to PwBD candidates.

In support of proof of age, certificate issued by a Board of Secondary Education of matriculation/ higher secondary will only be accepted.

Before applying online, candidates must ensure that they are having a valid email ID which must remain valid for at least 12 months. As, this will be used to provide latest information to the candidates regarding recruitment. Candidate can apply online on the official website www.iocl.com.

Candidates need to upload the scanned images of photo and signature that must be digital form. After submitting the application form, applicants must download it and take a print out. The print out along with the documents (for age, qualification, caste, experience, disability certificate (if applicable)) and proof of fee payment must be sent to the The Advertiser, General Post Office (GPO), Post Box. No. 145, Bhubaneswar – 751 001 by ordinary post. Incomplete applications will summarily be rejected.

The first stage of the selection procedure written exam, will tentatively be arranged on 9th September 2018. Candidates who would attend that test will be able to figure out their results by 14th September.
