Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Southern Region is looking for suitable candidates for engagement as apprentices under apprentices act, 1961/ 1973 in different trades. Online applications can be submitted before 5 PM on 21st September. Candidates found ineligible as per the required, candidature of such applicants would be rejected. After final submission, candidates should keep the copy of the printout of the online application form. Application number and date of birth would be required at the time of downloading admit cards.

One candidate cannot apply for more than one disciplines. Before applying online, candidates must ensure that they possess a valid email ID and mobile number which must be valid for at least one year as all future communications with candidates will take place through email/ SMS alerts.

Applicants should possess scanned copies of self-attested photocopies of the following documents ready in pdf/ jpg format:

• Recent colour passport size photograph,
• signature in black ink,
• Xth standard/ Matriculation certificate mark sheet issued by concerned education board,
• certificate of prescribed educational qualifications and
• caste certificate (if applicable).

Age limit: minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 24 years as on 31st August 2018. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates, three years for OBC candidates.

Selection Procedure: suitable candidates would be selected on the basis of performance in written test and interview. The written test will comprise of 100 questions (mainly objective type questions). The question paper will be prepared in two languages- English and Hindi. 90 minutes duration would be given to students to complete their test. Written test carry a weightage of 85 per cent marks while personal interview – 15 per cent. Candidates need to score 40 per cent at least (relaxable by 5 per cent for candidates from SC/ ST/ PwBD categories) to qualify the procedure.

Applications which are incomplete or are submitted in any other mode or not fulfilling the eligibility criteria and those submitted after the last date of submission of online applications shall not be considered Eligible and would be rejected.
