Jharkhand Police Recruitment 2018: 530 Cook, Barber & Other Posts

Jharkhand Police recruitment 2018 announced officially for the posts of Office Attendant, Water Carrier, Barber, Dhobi, Cook and Jharudar. In total, there are 530 vacant posts that are to be filled on the basis of physical test and written examination. A medical examination would be organised later. Of the total number of vacancies, 33 percent of vacancies are reserved for Female candidates. If a candidate found ineligible as per the medical requirement would not be appointed in any conditions.

Educational Qualifications:- Candidate must have passed the 10th standard.

Age Limit:- Applicants’ must have attained the minimum age of 18 years and should not cross the limit of 25 years as on 1st August 2018. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for Female candidates, 3 years for Candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories and two years for applicants belonging to Other Backward Classes.

All the interested and eligible candidates must submit their forms to the address provided in the notification before from 1st September to 24th September in working hours – from 10 AM to 5 PM. Candidates can submit their forms directly or through the post as well. Applications after this last date will not be accepted in any conditions.

Those who are submitting through post need must check whether post ticket of Rs. 5/- is paste on the envelope or not. They also need to write the post name they are applying for on the top of the envelope. Name and address of the candidate must be written so that, roll number shall be provided on the same address.

The date for the physical test would be provided through newspapers. Under which, both male and female candidates will have to complete the running of one mile in 10 minutes. Candidates who will qualify the physical test will have to appear for the written test (qualifying in nature). This exam would be of 50 marks and candidates have to acquire minimum 30% marks to qualify the test.

All the applicants must attach their matric pass certificate along with the application form. Domicile certificate would be checked at the time of final selection. For the physical test, applicants must bring two photographs.
