JIPMER Recruitment 2018: Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research under Government of India has released job vacancy notification online on 21st July 2018. An Institution of National Importance under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has decided to conduct a walk-in interview (no written examination will be organised in selection procedure) for eligible candidates on 8th August 2018.

Walk-in Interview will be organised in Pondicherry, the capital of the union territory of Puducherry, in southern India. Precise address of the campus is Dhanvantri Nagar, Gorimedu, Jipmer Campus, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu 605006. Total 09 unreserved vacancies are there for Assistant Professor of EMSD (Electrical and Mechanical Services Department), Assistant Professor of Medical Biometrics and Informatics (Biostatistics), Assistant Professor of Clinical Immunology (separate vacancies for laboratory services and clinical services).

Professor of RMSD and Professor/ Additional Professor of Medical Gastroenterology. Candidature of any aspirant appearing for an interview after 10:00 AM on Wednesday will be rejected. Maximum age limit will be decided based on the date of walk-in-interview.

JIPMER Recruitment 2018 is totally on a contractual basis. 11 months from the date of joining, an appointment of a volunteer is guaranteed. But after that, continuing with the job or not will mainly depend upon the requirement of the administration. 

Remunerations available to Government Employees will be not provided in this JIPMER Recruitment. Thus, aspirants need not expect Promotion, Seniority, Medical Attendance Treatment, Gratuity, Pension and Provident Fund. Neither in Karaikal Campus nor in Puducherry Campus, applicant or appointee does not reserve any right to claim a regular job/ appointment.

Volunteers will have to report by 08:00 AM, with his/ her application form and required documents as follows –

• Proof of Date of Birth or Birth Certificate
• Community Certificate (if applicable)
• List of Publication (02 sets of hard copies)
• Experience Certificate
• Educational Qualification Certificates
• Registration Certificate issued by MCI

Except for professor of EMSD, and Professor/ Additional Professor of Medical Gastroenterology posts, maximum age limit as on closing date is 50 years.
