MPPSC Recruitment 2018: 188 Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Posts

To recruit Veterinary Assistant Surgeons in Animal Husbandry Department, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission published a notification. There are a total of 188 veterinary asst. surgeon posts for which MPPSC Recruitment 2018 application form submission procedure to begin on 6th August. Suitable staff will be selected on the basis of online examination which would be organised on 7th October 2018.

Application forms for the recruitment can only be submitted online. Online application forms must be acknowledged before last date – 5th September on www.mppscdemo.in or www.mppsc.nic.in or www.mppsc.com. Applicants can make changes in the application from 10th August to 7th September.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have completed veterinary medicine from any of the recognised university. And, registered in Madhya Pradesh State Veterinary Council.

Age Limit: Applying candidate must have attained the age of 21 years but, must not complete the age of 40 years as on 1st January 2019. Five years of age is relaxable for candidates belonging to SC/ ST category.


Selection Procedure: In the first phase, an online examination would be conducted. On the basis of the scored marks in the online test, the number of selected candidates would be three times of the number of vacancies. Those who qualify the test will have to appear for the interview. Only those candidates will be selected who would score more than 30% marks. Once the results are announced, the document verification process will be organised and only those will appear for the interview who would satisfy all the eligibility circumstances. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online test and interview.

Written test will be organised at different centres in Indore. Admit cards for the examination will be issued just three days prior to the exam date. if there is any kind of discrepancy in the question, candidates can rise objection against it within seven days after examination.

On the exam date, candidates need to carry one photo ID proof along with the admit card. The document can be the passport, voter ID card, Driving License, Aadhar Card, PAN card, Passbook of Bank or Post Office (must contain photograph) etc.
