Northern coalfields limited, a Miniratna company recently published a notice for the recruitment of Indian Nationals for the posts of Mining Sirdar, Jr. Overman and Surveyor. There are a total of 220 vacancies classified category wise as well. Publication of complete notification on official website will take place on 28th August and from 3rd September, applicants will be able to make online registration and submit their forms.

The authority has directed that only those should apply who possess minimum qualifications.

Educational Qualifications:

For Surveyor:-

• completed matriculation and possessing Surveyors’ Certificate of Competency (SSC) granted under CMR’57
• OR completed diploma in Mining/ Mine surveying + SSC granted under CMR’57.

For Mining Sirdar:-

• The applicant must have passed matriculation from any of the recognised boards, valid mining sirdar certificate of competency from DGMS under Coal mines regulation 1957 or any other certificate in mining which entitle to work as Mining Sirdar as per coal mines regulation 1957 and valid Gas testing certificate & valid First Aid Certificate
• OR completed diploma in mining engineering of 3 years duration and Valid Overman’s certificate of competency and valid Gas Testing Certificate & Valid First Aid Certificate.

For Junior Overman:-

• Candidate must possess Diploma in Mining Engineering of minimum 3 years duration from a recognised institute and Valid Gas Testing certificate & valid First Aid Certificate and Valid Overman’s certificate of competency under DGMS under coal mines regulation 1957.

 

Age Limit:

• Candidate’s age must not exceed the upper age limit of 30 years as on the last date of submission of applications.
• Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ ST candidate while three years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer candidates).
• Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules of Government of India for Ex-servicemen and Candidates who had originally been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989.
• Date of birth would be recorded as provided in the matriculation certificate.

Important: The Corporation has positioned 24th September as the last date for NCL recruitment 2018 online registration. Aspirants must submit the printed copy of online application along with the required documents to Recruitment Department NCL HQ through registered/ speed post only.
