North Western Railway Recruitment 2018: For young sports person of the nation, lying the age limit of 18 years to 25 years, Northwestern railway department has released job vacancy notification of 21 posts. On 23rd July 2018, from Jaipur headquarter, this one of the 17 railway zones of India disclosed the form filling procedure. In that, payment mode is through Demand Draft/ IPO and Application Fees is Rs. 250/- for Economically Backward Classes, Minorities, Women, SC and ST and Rs. 500 for all others.

For UG (Under Graduation) no precise stream is required. But, major educational qualifications incorporate matriculation, 10+2 or any degree. Candidates selected through sports quota will have to perform in his/ her field of sports for a minimum period of 5 years. His/ her performance will be assessed during the first two years of service (probation period). In case performance is not found up to the mark, his/ her service is liable to be terminated.
The date, venue and time of the trial will be intimated to the eligible candidate through registered/ speed post only. Sportsperson recruited against sports quota shall be terminated from service, if the information and documents furnished by him/ her for recruitment, are found incorrect/ fake at any stage; observing requisite procedure for such termination.
The decision of Railway Administration/ Recruitment committee in all matters related to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of application, final selection, offer of appointment, suitability for North Western Railway/ Indian Railway and assigning of post and pay level/ grade pay etc. will be final and binding on the candidates no inquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this connection.
No post is reserved for SC, ST and OBC. However, the candidates claiming to belong to SC/ ST/ OBC will have to produce the required certificate of proof at the time of document verification.
