TN Police SI Recruitment 2018: 202 Sub Inspector (Finger Print) Posts

For the recruitment to the posts of Sub-inspector of Police (Finger Print), Tamil Nadu Police department issued a notification on 29th August (today). There are a total of 202 vacancies which will be filled up on the basis of the selection list that will be drawn based on the marks acquired by candidates in written examination and Viva-Voce. Online applications for the TN Police SI recruitment 2018 has already been commenced and the process will end on 28th September.

Candidates checked eligible terms and satisfying all the circumstances can apply online only through the website – www.tnusrbonline.org (official). Forms through any other mode will be summarily rejected. After completion of registration, candidates should keep the registration Id and password safe until the whole recruitment procedures end. Information and all the communications concerning the recruitment will be sent to the e-mail address and registered contact number.

Examination Fee: Applicants have to pay Rs. 500/- as examination fee. Note: Police departmental candidates can apply under both open quota and departmental quota but they shall pay a sum of Rs. 1000/- as examination fee. Payment can be made through Cash Challan or through online mode.

  • Online Mode: Fee can be submitted using net banking, credit card, debit card. Once the fee is paid, payment status will be reflected within 24 hours. A receipt would be generated in the candidate’s dashboard.
  • Cash Challan Mode: On choosing “CASH/ SBI Branch Payment”, a challan will be generated and details of the same will be sent to the candidate’s registered email id. The challan payment can be made at any of the branches of State Bank of India during the bank transaction hours.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications Required: candidate must possess a degree in Science (in the pattern 10+2+3) from any university recognised by the University Grants Commission. And, the candidate must have studied Tamil as a subject in 10th standard. If not studied, the candidate will have to pass the Tamil-Part II test conducted by TNPSC with 2 years of joining the service.

Age limit: Applicant’s age should be between 20 to 28 years as on 1st July 2018.
