We had seen Gautam Gambhir and Dhoni’s rivalry in many situations on the field when they are opponents. It seems that Gambhir doesn’t like MS Dhoni batting. Whenever Dhoni comes to bat, Gambhir changes his fielding. There have been several instances caught on tape where it was clearly evident that these both players don’t share a warm relationship.

As we all know that Dhoni is a hard hitter of the ball and is capable of hitting huge sixes out of the park. But Gambhir thinks different and sets the field according to his convenience as shown in below images.

Dhoni complained to BCCI about Gambhir’s attitude and on-field ethics after India lost two Test matches against England. According to the complaint, Gambhir was tagged as self-centred and his batting approach as hurtful to the team.

Since then, the field placement Gambhir keeps whenever Dhoni is on strike will make you shock. He never changed his field on all occasions when the two players are opponents.
