Cricketer Jason Anderson Banned By Bermuda Cricket Board After Nasty On-Field Fight

The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] has banned one of the island’s top cricketers ever, Jason Anderson, for his role in large brawl that took place between him and George O’Brien from the Willow Cuts team during a match in the tiny island nation 10 days ago.

The incident took place during the final match of the ‘Champion of Champions’ tournament in the island of Bermuda, which was being played between Willow Cuts Cricket Club and Cleveland County Cricket Club at the St David’s Cricket Club Ground.

“Jason Anderson formerly of Cleveland County Cricket Club has been found guilty of a Level 4 2.4.2 of the Code of Conduct: Physical assault of another Player and has been given a life ban from all cricket and any involvement in the game of cricket in Bermuda in any capacity,”  a statement from the BCB said.
