Los Angeles Lakers Sign Danny Green, Caldwell-Pope, and McGee On Two Year Deals
The Los Angeles Lakers are currently filling out their roster after Kawhi Leonard decided to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, where he is set to team-up with Paul George and Lou Williams.
As part of their new signings, the Los Angeles Lakers have signed Danny Green, on a 2-year $30 Million deal, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, on a 2-year $16 Million Deal, and JaVale McGee, on a 2-year $8.2 Million deal with a player-option.
Green broke the news out that he will be signing with the Los-Angeles Lakers after Kawhi agreed to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers. Green was waiting for the decision of Kawhi and was considering to re-sign with the Toronto Raptors and signing with the Dallas Mavericks.
The 32-year-old averaged 10.3 points and 4 rebounds with the Toronto Raptors last season. The Los-Angeles Lakers will be the fourth team that he will be playing for in his career. Green won his second NBA title with the Raptors last season and won his first with the Spurs in 2014.
KCP will be returning for his third season with the Lakers, he averaged 11.4 points and 2.9 rebounds per game last season.
McGee, who won 2 NBA titles with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018, he signed with the Lakers last season and averaged 12 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game in 62 games.
