In the Natwest T20 Blast match between Middlesex and Surrey at Lords last night, Nick Gubbins has cheered the crowd with one of the funniest moments ever seen in cricket. Nick Gubbins in the third man position took a catch of Surrey batsman. He was so excited by the catch in taking an early wicket.

Soon after taking the catch, Nick went running backwards addressing the crowd. As he was turning, his leg slipped and fell. The whole crowd in the stadium laughed out loud seeing the funny moment. Even Nick’s team members had a great laugh about it for a while.

It seemed that the smiles were more for the fall than the joy of taking the wicket. However, Middlesex won the match against Surrey spoiling the hope of their quarter-finals qualification.
