September 5 is an extremely special day in India that celebrates the contribution by the teachers towards the society. A lot of Indian cricketers are among the ones who have taken time out from their busy schedules to pay tribute to their coaches and teachers.

As we know Ramakant Achrekar played a key role in Sachin Tendulkar s career as he went on to become a legend for Indian cricket. On the occasion of Teachers Day he took to his social media account on Facebook to wish all the teachers and specially his childhood coach.

He posted an image which read ‘Dreams begin with a teacher, who believes in you, who hugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called “truth”.

“Wishing A Happy Teachers Day,” read the caption of the image posted by Tendulkar which had a special message for Achrekar.
