Shakib Al Hasan Banned For One Match For Abusing And Insulting Field Umpire In BPL

Bangladesh All-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan was banned for One-match from Bangladesh Premier League after being found guilty of using abusive language towards on-field umpire Tanvir Ahmed. Shakib was also fined Taka 20,000 as a code of conduct by Bangladesh Cricket Board. The incident happened during the match between Rangpur Riders and Sylhet Super Stars. Shakib was reported abusing the Sylhet Super Stars batsmen Dilshan Munaweera and the field umpire Tanvir Ahmed.//

In the 13th over, the Riders raised a strong appeal for a catch caught behind decision against Mushfiqur Rahim but the umpire Tanvir turned it down. Angry Shakib started abusing the umpire. He was seen confronting the umpire after the over. He was seen confronting the umpire after the over. Umpire Ranmore intervened and brought the situation under control, waving the players away from the scene. Thus, Shakib was fined and banned for One match.
