Yesterday in the match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Soumya Sarkar of Bangladesh pulled off a stunning catch to dismiss Pakistan’s Mohammad Hafeez. Bangladesh needed something special in the field to lift themselves when Pakistan was batting, and that effort came in the 17th over from Soumya Sarkar.

Hafeez’s hit off Arafat Sunny was heading over the boundary for six, but Soumya showed great ability to knock the ball into the air.

Soumya Sarkar grabbed the ball out of the air and then on realizing that he would not be able to keep his balance, threw the ball up in the air again, went out of the boundary and re-entered the playing arena to complete the marvelous effort.
