Sunrisers Hyderabad clinched their maiden IPL Championship after beating Royal Challengers Bangalore in the finals. Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted 208/7 leading David Warner’s fifty, Yuvraj Singh’s 38 runs off 23 balls and Ben Cutting’s superb finish 39 runs off 15 balls at the end. Then SRH bowlers defended the total with some magical performance from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustafizur Rahman in the death overs.

Though Yuvraj Singh joined Sunrisers Hyderabad squad in the latter half of the tournament, he played some brilliant innings at the right time to his team. After winning the IPL 2016, Yuvraj Singh celebrated the win in emphatic style. He was seen imitating his former teammate Chris Gayle by making push-ups and dancing.

Gayle was seen doing the same style of celebration in RCB’s victory over SRH in IPL 8. It has been a great night for the SRH players winning the first ever IPL Trophy.

RCB was disappointing which made its third IPL final but couldn’t end up at Champions side. Virat Kohli was given the Orange Cap for his outstanding performance scoring 973 in IPL 2016.
