Amazon Prime Day Sale, Everything You Need to Know About

Among the world’s most significant E-commerce Amazon prime day sale is about to happen. Amazon’s Prime Day sale will simultaneously occur in 17 cities including newly prime countries Netherlands and Singapore. It is all set to take place on July 16.

 

 

How long will the Amazon Prime Day Sale be available?

The sale will start on July 16 noon and will be continued till July 17 midnight. Making it a 36-hour long sale. During the Prime Day sale, Prime members can enjoy the launch of over 200 starts, blockbuster deals, entertainment premiers and more.

However, you should know that if you are looking for buying a new smartphone. Amazon-exclusive smartphones such as the OnePlus 6, Moto G6, Redmi 5, RealMe 1 are now available for purchase on Prime Now app ahead of the Prime Day celebrations.

Fast delivery of Prime.

Products that are available in the Prime app will be eligible for fast delivery. Which is off of 2 hours for Prime members between 6 AM to Midnight. This offer is in addition to the recently launched Amazon devices selection of Fire TV sticks, Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite (WiFI), Echo Dot and Echo on Prime Now.

 

 

How much discount you can expect.

During the sale, buyers can expect upto 40% discount on mobile phones. Moreover, other electronics can see upto 50% discount. While home and outdoor items can look upto a whopping 70% discount. There will be an additional discount of 10 per cent for those paying with HDFC Bank cards. As part of providing a new experience, Amazon India will be launching Virtual Reality outlets across 11 malls in Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Kolkata.

What do officials say?

“We are investing in transportation logistics as well as other logistical capacities. About 350 local entrepreneurs, from retired servicemen to housewives, have been roped in who would be delivering packages within their respective areas while 17,500 shops across 225 cities have been tied up under ‘I have space’ programme who would work for us,” Akhil Saxena, VP, customer fulfilment of Amazon India, told DNA Money.

 

 

“As we add more fulfilment centres, our ability to provide one or two-day deliveries to our Prime members for more number of products would rise,” he added.
