Nokia is all set to launch its new Nokia 8 today in an event in London. Nokia is well known for its Smartphone’s which are famous in the market today. Nokia is going to launch the Snapdragon 835 in an event that is conducted in London at 7.30 PM which is at 12 AM on August 17^th as per Indian timing. Nokia fans have waited years for their much-loved company to embrace Android. And the smartphone does not disappoint. The Nokia 8 is carved out of a single block of aluminum and comes with ZEISS powered dual cameras, pure Android, top of the line specifications, OZO audio and much more.

• The phone is launched with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.

The Nokia 8 is the first smartphone in the world which allows ‘Dual-Sight’ video to be live streamed natively and in real-time to social feeds such as YouTube and Facebook. Dual-Sight allows you to use the front and rear camera at the same time in a split screen view. This feature can be utilized for both photos and videos. Nokia 8 users can backup unlimited photos and videos to Google Photos.

OZO Audio

Nokia is promising a 360 degree fully immersive audio experience with the Nokia 8. The smartphone’s three microphones and Nokia’s acoustic algorithms allow you to capture 360-degree spatial surround sound. You can also share 4K videos with OZO audio with anyone – binaural codecs ensure high fidelity playback even on devices without OZO Audio.

Splash resistance

While the Nokia 8 does not come with IP68 dust and water resistance, it is splash proof (IP54) and will be able to withstand light rains and splashes of water.

The price of the Nokia 8 is expected as EUR 589 which is around 43,000 in Indian Currency. The launch of Nokia 8 will be live streamed on YouTube when the event starts so that audience can view the launch and enjoy the specifications announced.

Earlier the price was expected as EUR 749 which is about Rs 55,300 and the price in India was tripped to Rs. 44,999 which can be finalized after the release of the Smartphone. Initially, the storage capacity is also announced as 6 GB RAM and 8 GB RAM variants which should be confirmed yet.
