Uttar Pradesh Government To Help Qadri To Complete ‘mini’ Taj Mahal in Bulandshahr
We all know that Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal to house the tomb of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj Mahal was built three-and-a-half centuries ago showing Shah Jahan’s love to his wife Mumtaz. Thus Taj Mahal is said to be the Art of Love and it is an inspiration for everyone in the world.
An 81 year old man from Bulandshahr who loves his wife a lot had built a mini Taj Mahal which replicates the original Taj Mahal. This was built by Faizul Hasan Qadri to show his love to his late wife ‘Tajamulli Begum’. He was a retired post master from Kaser Kalan village. When his wife died due to throat cancer, he decided to built and set up all his finances to built mini Taj Mahal.
After three years, all his finance to build this mini Taj Mahal was over. He doesn’t have enough money to complete this. Thus Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav met Qadri and appreciated his efforts and to offer some financial help so that he can complete his unfinished building.
Meanwhile Qadri said that “I will go to meet him (Akhilesh Yadav) and will request him to get my village school recognized by the education board rather.” However Qadri has got financial aid from the Uttar Pradesh government in constructing the mausoleum, in which he wishes to be buried beside his spouse.
District Magistrate B Chandrakala confirmed that she called Qadri at Chief Minister Akhilseh Yadav’s behest to know about his project. “Soon, a meeting of the octogenarian with the chief minister will be arranged,” the DM said. Qadri has a desire to be buried by the side of his wife, Tajmauli, in the mausoleum. Luck favoured him when the Chief Minister chanced to have a look at the mini Taj Mahal
Mr Qadri said that he has spent Rs. 14 lakhs of his savings on the building, including provident fund and gratuity. “I have told my brother to bury me here by the side of my wife. I have deposited the fees with the Wakf board also. Everything that comes has to go away some day. My wife is dead. I will also die some day. The monument too might not stand forever. I just wish to see it complete before I die,” Qadri said.
