Kevin Pietersen Slams 30 Runs In Last Over In Ram Slam T20 Challenge Match

England dashing batsman Kevin Pietersen struck an unbeaten 115 off just 66 balls on Wednesday in South African T20 Challenge match. In the match between Dolphins and Highveld Lions, Pietersen slammed 4 fours and 10 sixes to help his team make 174/6. At one stage, Dolphins were 87/6. KP took the charge and total game had gone into his hands. His first fifty took 45 deliveries but faced only 13 balls to reach the century.

The highlight of the match was Pietersen scoring 30 runs off the last over. KP has become one of the best batsmen in T20 format. His journey this year started with the tournament in the Caribbean and now in South Africa. Later he will complete in the Australia with Big Bash League. Pietersen last played for England in 2013-14 tour of Australia.

West Indies former player Viv Richards quoted that “Pietersen’s exclusion from England team is a loss to international cricket.” “Kevin Pietersen should have been taken for what he is. There are times folks can be a little stuffy nose. I’ve always felt about Kevin having seen him, and for the short time I spent with him in Melbourne, he’s a confident dude. He exudes confidence,” Viv said.
