Officials confirmed that a 5-year-old girl was raped by a 10-year-old and an 11-year-old boy in Kapashera, New Delhi.

Officials said that the rape happened on July 2, 2019 evening.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the boys lured the 5-year-old girl with candies and brought her to an isolated area where they raped her.

The police said that the 5-year-old girl was playing with kids in their neighborhood on July 2 when the two boys, who are friends with the girl, gave her candies and brought her to an isolated area in the neighborhood.

When the mother of the 5-year-old girl searched her after she went missing, she came across the two boys sexually assaulting her daughter.

The mother of the girl raised an alarm after she saw the two boys sexually assaulting her daughter and registered a case at the local police station.

The 5-year-old girl has gone under a medical examination that has confirmed that she was raped on July 2, 2019.

The 10-year-old boy and the 11-year-old boy have been detained and have been sent to juvenile home on July 3, 2019.

The police added that the father of the girl and the father of the boys worked together in Gurgaon.

The 5-year-old girl is currently undergoing counseling sessions with professionals.
