11-Year-Old Boy Drives His Grandmother To Safety After Her Glucose Levels Suddenly Dropped
An 11-year-old boy helped save his grandmother when she started to feel sick by driving her to her own house.
PJ Brewer-Laye, who is from Indianapolis, was driving his go-kart around his neighborhood while his grandmother, Angela Brewer-Laye, walked nearby.

The 2 were around 2 kilometers away from their house when the grandmother of PJ started to feel unwell.
Angela Brewer-Laye, the grandmom of PJ, said that her vision started to blur and she went dizzy and disoriented at the same time.
She had to lean against a road sign to keep her balance.
During an interview with WTHR, Angela Brewer-Laye said:
He noticed my demeanor, and right when I was about to go down to the ground, that’s when he springs into action.
As she leaned against the sign, the 11-year-old boy went running and returned to her driving her vehicle.
Recalling the moment, she said:
I was leaning against the stop sign, and all of a sudden, I look to my right, and I see my car – my Mercedes-Benz coming towards me. Just in an easy, calm manner, it was coming towards me.
Angela Brewer-Laye said that the boy used his go-kart to reach her house and drove her car to her.
The boy drove her home and managed to drive safely without causing any accidents or serious injuries.
In a post that Angela Brewer-Laye made on Facebook, she said:
I got in the car he drove me home pulled in the drive way put it in park and helped me out the car. Let me tell you this child is ONLY 11 YRS OLD!! and can drive better than his momma.
PJ helped her grandmother inside and gave her glucose tablets.
It is believed that the glucose levels of the grandmother had dropped to dangerous levels.
The best thing about this is that the 11-year-old boy waited for her grandmother to feel better before he went out again.
Angela Brewer-Laye said that this was not the first time her 11-year-old grandson had used a car before.
She said that her grandfather would tell him to rearrange the vehicles in their driveway or yard.
Such a good boy! May he be blessed.
