Boss Accidentally Turns Herself Into A Potato During Live Chat

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, people all over the world are practicing social-distancing and self-isolation so the fast-spreading virus can be controlled.

This has changed life as we know it.

However, a number of people all over the world are coming out with ways that will help us pass the time in a much faster way.

From priests doing live masses and companies offering work from opportunities to their employees, the list goes on.

Lizet Ocampo, the Political Director at People For The American Way, was having a live chat with her employees when she accidentally turned herself into a potato.

And the best part about this is that she had no idea how to turn herself back to a normal person.

Rachele Clegg, one of her employees, captured a screengrab of the hilarious moment and shared it on Twitter, where it quickly went viral.

While sharing the hilarious picture on Twitter, Clegg said, “My boss turned herself into a potato on our Microsoft teams meeting and can’t figure out how to turn the setting off, so she was just stuck like this the entire meeting.”

The post that Clegg made went viral right away after she posted it.

Over 221,600 people have retweeted the picture along with 938,600 favorites.

Microsoft even replied on the post that she made and said that the incident was “TOO FUNNY!”

After the tweet went viral, Lizet decided to join Twitter.

She said, “I yam potato boss. You should see me in a crown, right @billieeilish?”

She added, “I yam glad this is making folks laugh at this time. Please stay planted at home and safe! For more needed laughs, follow my favorite comedian @cristela9. Potate out.”

During an interview with Mirror Online, Lizet said, “Our work is to fight for progressive values – which is not the easiest in a Trump administration, so, on a regular day, we try to stay encouraged in order to do the best work we can.”

She added, “Of course, now with the coronavirus pandemic, there is even more reason to try to connect and keep spirits high. We know that the people with the toughest jobs right now are those on the frontlines like healthcare workers, grocery store workers, first responders and others…”

She continued, “Everything about the potato story is hilarious: the fact that it happened, the look of the potato (my) face, and the expressions on the faces of my colleagues. We all need a laugh right now, and it’s extra special that this brought so many people in our lives a little bit of joy.”

It is funny how people have a hard time coping up with technology.
