Dog Suffers Brain Damage After Being Left Alone In Car During 50 C Heat

Even after being reminded that dogs or any pet animals should not be left behind or inside a vehicle during heatwaves, owners and parents are still doing it.

Recently, a dog in Colorado was left behind a vehicle while temperatures reached 50 degrees Celsius.

Patrolling officers saw the dog inside a car that was parked outside a supermarket in Colorado.

The officers had to smash the window open so they could rescue the poor dog.

It is reported that the dog sustained brain damage and is now in intensive care.

During an interview with Fox News, Dave Karnowski, a police officer, said, “The dog couldn’t even bark it was panting so heavy. The mouth was dry, he was lethargic. He couldn’t even control himself.”

Officer Karnowski added, “If you love your animal you wouldn’t leave it in the hot car like that.”

The owner was mad when he saw that his window had been smashed by the officers, and before being arrested, he managed to take off in the vehicle.
