Hurricane Dorian: 16 Bricks Of Cocaine Worth $400,000 Wash Up On A Beach In Florida

16 bricks of cocaine washed up on a beach in Florida after Category 5 Hurricane Dorian swept across the Caribbean Sea and America.

The bricks were discovered by a local police officer who was walking along the Paradise Beach in Florida.

He came across bricks that had the word “Diamante” written on both sides.

Diamante is a Portuguese word that means Diamond in English.

During an interview with the Daily Mail, the spokesperson of the Melbourne Police Department said that the brick was sealed in a way that showed it had narcotics inside it.

The bricks were then brought in by the patrolling police officer so it could be tested. When the forensic tests came back, they tested positive for cocaine.

After the test results came in, the police went back to the beach to find more, and luckily they did. The police found 15 more cocaine bricks.

The police have opened up an investigation and are currently trying to find the person responsible for the bricks.

The police said that the 16 bricks have a street value of nearly $400,000.

Hurricane Dorian, on the other hand, is currently heading towards Georgia, North and South Carolina.

Authorized weather forecasters believe that the hurricane could get stronger in the upcoming days.

The NHC (National Hurricane Center) said, “[The storm] should be noted that the track is close to and almost parallel to the coast of the southeastern United States, and any deviation to the left of the track could bring the center onshore anywhere in the Carolinas.”

Authorities have placed a number of bans and curfews in some areas of the cities where Hurricane Dorian is expected to hit.

The Tropical Storm Force Wind Gusts of the hurricane are currently in 40 to 45 miles per hour. This has caused a number of airports to suspend flights and operations.

Winds in some area have been recorded up to 110 miles per hour, this means the hurricane can get stronger.
