A video that is viral on social media right now shows a participant of a Zoom meeting for a city council having sex with a woman.

It is believed that the man forgot to turn off his camera.

Images that were shared of the meeting shows a participant on the right-hand side of the screen having sex on a bed.

The meeting was reportedly organized by the city council of the city of Rio de Janeiro and chaired by a member of the Socialism and Liberty Party, Leonel Brizola.

Brizola continued the discussion despite the couple having sex in the back.

According to local news channels, the authorities were trying to discuss how to guarantee food for students in the municipal system amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

The participants that had sex in the zoom meeting were not councilors, said Globo, a local newspaper agency.

It is believed that the meeting went on for another 4 hours without getting interrupted, and the couple went on having sex with each other.

Councilors reportedly noticed the scenes but decided to ignore it and focused on the problems that the students were facing.

Brizola released a statement about the incident, where he said:

As soon as we noticed what was happening, we immediately asked the people controlling the audio and video of the participants to take it off the feed. Us councillors and other participants do not have any input in controlling or editing videos on Zoom.

He also made a point of highlighting the importance of the issue that was being discussed by the councilors.

The couple that had sex in the zoom meeting was not identified.

It is also unclear if the people who performed the act were punished for the inconvenience that they showed.
