Michigan: Woman And Husband Charged With Felonious Assault After Pulling Gun On Aggressive Black Family
Michigan, USA: A white woman was caught on cam pulling a gun on an unarmed black mother who was with her 15-year-old daughter during a heated confrontation.
According to reports, the incident happened at a Chipotle in Michigan.
A video of the incident shows a white woman pointing a gun at Takelia Hill, a black mother.
The video of the incident is currently viral on social media.
Hill, the victim, said:
Get away. She got the gun on me!
The women started to argue as the white woman was backing up near her SUV.
The woman reportedly said “Get the F—k back!” at Hill.
The confrontation erupted after the white woman bumped into Makayla Green, the teen daughter of Hill, while she was exiting a Chipotle franchise in Orion Township.
During an interview with Green, she said:
Before I could walk into Chipotle, this woman was coming out and I had moved out the way so she can walk out. She bumped me and I said, ‘Excuse you.’ And then she started cussing me out and saying things like I was invading her personal space.
Scared over what happened, the teen called her mother.
Hill said:
I walked up on the woman yelling at my daughter. She couldn’t see me because her back was to me, but she was in my daughter’s face.
The bump that Hill is talking about was not caught on cam.
The video that they shared only shows the altercation after it moved into the parking lot.
It begins with Hill and her daughter arguing with Eric Wuestenberg and his wife Jillian as the black family wanted an apology from the woman.
At one point in the video, the teen said: “You are very racist and ignorant”.
At one point in the video, Jillian, the white woman, said:
White people aren’t racist … I care about you and I’m sorry if you had an incident that has made someone make you feel like that. No one is racist.
She said that after the black family called her racist.
As Jillian tried to apologize, she rolled up her window and backed the SUV to cool down the verbal confrontation.
However, Hill went at the back of the car and hit the window.
This is when the woman jumped out back and pulled a gun on Hill and her daughter.
Jillian eventually went back into the car and drove away with her husband.
After the incident, the Oakland University, announced that they have fired Eric Wuestenberg after he was charged with felonious assault on Thursday.
Eric, the husband of Jillian, was the Coordinator of Veterans Support Services.
In a statement that was released by the Oakland University, they said:
We have seen the video and we deem his behavior unacceptable. The employee has been notified that his employment has been terminated by the university.
The Wuestenbergs were holding loaded guns in the incident.
The police said that the couple had legal Concealed Pistol Licenses (CPLs).
