A 32-year-old Uber driver from New York has been charged for kidnapping a 15-year-old girl on July 12, 2019.

It is reported that 32-year-old Sean Williams picked up a 15-year-old girl from a Sweet 16 party in Atlantic Beach with a scheduled drop off in Merrick.

The man picked the 15-year-old girl at 11:15 p.m. on July 12.

During a press release, the Nassau County District Attorney revealed that 32-year-old Sean Williams canceled the route before arriving at the destination and tried to convince the 15-year-old girl to go drinking with him.

During the press release, the district attorney added, “It is also alleged that the defendant wanted the 15-year-old girl to go to his home in Brooklyn where he intended to sexually assault her.”

The 15-year-old girl told Sean that what her age is and asked him to take her home.

But Sean Williams continued to drive in the wrong direction while the scared minor was sitting in the back of the car.

The teen came up with a plan and begged Sean Williams to let her out so she could use the bathroom.

After reaching Brooklyn, the 15-year-old girl ran into a McDonald’s on Linden Boulevard and called the police.

32-year-old Sean Williams followed her into the fast-food chain and left the area before the police arrived to save the 15-year-old girl. 4 days later, the police arrested 32-year-old Sean Williams outside his home.

Sean Williams has been charged with kidnapping, in the second degree as a sexually motivated felony, endangering the welfare of a child, and unlawful imprisonment in the second degree.

The bail of 32-year-old Sean Williams was set at $150,000 or $75,000 in cash.
