As seen in the short clip, the rhino managed to get out of the Chitwan National Park and took a stroll along the nearly empty street outside of it.
Some of the people in the street ran away to let the rhino pass, however, a man crossed the road in front of the rhino.
After noticing the man, the rhino chased him right away, leaving the man to run and fleeing the spot.
While sharing the video on Twitter, Officer Kaswan said: “So this #rhino thought to take things in his own hand. Went for an inspection. By the way, rhino venturing out from forest happens a lot, even without lockdown.”
In a separate tweet, Parveen Kaswan said that the Chitwan National Park in Nepal has a good rhino population.
Kaswan explained, “Those who are asking about the location. The video is from Chitwan National Park, Nepal. The first National Park of Nepal. It has good rhino population. Rhino venturing into human habitation is common for all PAs. In India also.”
