Slaughterhouse Accident Leaves Street With “Sea Of Blood” And Foul Smell

A street in Argentina ended up with a huge sea of blood after a slaughterhouse storage tank burst open and allowed its contents to flow throughout the city.

The incident reportedly happened at a slaughterhouse that is owned by Ganadera San Roque in the city of Morón, which is located in Buenos Aires, East Argentina.

The storage tank that exploded was reportedly filled with 500,000 liters of blood, which belonged to animals.

On March 9, 2020, the storage tank reportedly fell and burst open.

It is still unclear whether the tank collapsed inside the slaughterhouse or if it was being transported at the time of the incident.

Images of the incident show the street coated with thick red liquid, which flooded the whole block and left a sticky smell hovering throughout the city.

According to reports, residents heard a loud bang before the blood-filled streets of the city.

Marisa Camejo, a local resident, expressed her grievances about the state of the city after the incident happened.

She said she had enough of the bad smell.

Marisa said there are rats that look like cats, heavy traffic all the time, and bad noises from cows and trucks.

Talking about the incident, the woman said, “It was a sea of blood, it was very disgusting.”

Firefighters reportedly told the reporters that they cleaned the mess and added that they had everything sorted now.

But locals claim there is still a lot of blood in the streets, which emits a bad smell.

The slaughterhouse did not release a comment about the incident.

Neither did they reveal how the tank managed to burst open.

Residents in the area claim they asked the company to be shut down, but they did not listen to them.
