The Verkhovna Rada, which is the parliament of Ukraine, has approved a law that will allow forced castration for pedophiles.

The new law was passed by lawmakers on July 11, 2019, and is now in effect in the country.

The new law that approves Castration does not require surgery, the new procedure will only require drugs to be injected to pedophiles that will blunt their sex driver for some time.

The Chemical Castration will only be done on pedophiles who are 18 years old and above, and note over 65-years-old.

Along with the new procedure in effect, the new law will also hand out 15 years in prison for those people who will rape minors and 5 years in prison for those people who are involved in lurid acts that involve minors.

As of now, Forced Chemical Castration for pedophiles is legal in countries such as Canada, the United States of America, France, Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, Norway, Sweden, Britain, and Denmark.

Russia also has the law, it was passed in 2012, but it only allows chemical castration to pedophiles if they want to have it.

In a report that was published by “The Sun”, there were 320 cases of Child Rape cases in Ukraine, but the number of pedophile sex abuse cases in the country is currently believed in thousands.

One of the most recent cases of child rape in Ukraine involved an 11-year-old girl named Daria Lukyanenko, she was killed by Nikolay Tarasov, a family friend who killed her fighting back.

The body of Daria was found in a village cesspool after 6 days of intensive search.

Nikolay confessed the murder and kidnapping of the 11-year-old girl and was arrested for attempted rape and murder of Daria Lukyanenko.

The Chemical Castration for Pedophiles was proposed by Oleg Lyashko, a Radical Party Leader.

He said, “Ukrainian law does not have a life term or death penalty for sex crimes against children, and it is very unlikely that the rapist would not be back to his ‘business’ again after release from jail.”
