Watch: Burglar Puts His Gun Down In The Middle Of Robbery, Clerk Grabs It And Scares Him Away
When a burglar enters a shop with a gun, the first thing you do is to give them all your money and belongings. But what happens if the tables turn around?
A burglar was arrested last week for committing an armed robbery at a hotel in Paducah, Kentucky.
Authorities arrested Cory Phillips after he was seen committing a robbery with a gun. The entire situation was recorded by a CCTV.

Paducah police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Country Inn and Suites Monday night. An employee told police the man came in and brandished a handgun, demanding money. The clerk eventually threw money on the counter and the robber placed his gun on the countertop to put the money into a plastic bag. The clerk grabbed the gun and pointed it at the robber and he fled. He came back inside the business, and the clerk again pointed the gun at him. The robber then turned and fled in a dark-colored passenger car. The handgun was recovered at the scene. The white shirt and sock hat were recovered nearby on McBride Lane. But during the robbery, the tables turned.
When the robbery was happening, the hotel clerk managed to grab the gun of Cory in the middle of the robbery and managed to scare him away.
In the video, Cory Philips can be seen entering the hotel and demanding money from the woman who was behind the counter.
Cory could be seen threatening the woman with a gun.
The scared clerk then threw money on the countertop, which led Cory to leave his gun on the countertop.
Immediately, the clerk grabbed the gun and pointed it towards Cory Philips who ran away.
Philips was arrested by the police after the video of him went viral.
Authorities arrested him a day after the incident, during a routine traffic stop.
Authorities reportedly found stolen items in the vehicle of Cory Philips.
Philips was arrested and charged for armed robbery and receiving stolen property.
He is currently residing in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
