Woman Discovers She First Met Her Husband On A Family Holiday In Turkey When She Was Just 6

A couple who thought the met for the first time at their university were stunned when they found out that they met each other for the first time in their childhood days.

To prove that, the couple even has a picture of their first encounter, which is adorable by the way.

The couple that we are talking about is Heidi Parker and Ed Savitt.

The 2 grew up miles apart from each other, Heidi grew up in Sheffield and Ed grew up in Putney, which is located in south-west London.

The 2 initially thought they first met as students at Newcastle University, where they both lived in the same student house, however, they were 1 year apart.

Ed moved in once Heidi left, and later he tracked her down with the help of Facebook in 2011.

After their exchange on Facebook, Heidi, who is now 29 years old, spotted Ed on a night out and thought he was gorgeous and amazing.

The 2 then went on their first date in Pizza Express and became inseparable.

In 2015, the 2 were on a walk in the grounds of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire when Ed asked the magical question to Heidi.

Talking about the day when Ed proposed to her, Heidi said:

Afterward, we went home and he had organized a surprise engagement party. It was wonderful.

The story already seemed picture-perfect, but things were about to get better.

A couple of months later, the mothers of Heidi and Ed were having dinner with each other when Kay, the mother of Heidi, said that they went on a family holiday in 1997 at a resort in Bodrum, Turkey, where Heidiy made a friend named Ed.

A couple of weeks after the dinner, Kay sent a picture of Heidi on holiday with her new friend.

Guess what, that boy in the picture was Ed, the same Ed that she is about to marry.

Heidi said:

She sent me a picture in the post of him and it was my Ed. I was astonished when I saw the picture. I just yelled, ‘Mum – you know who that is!’ I was so shocked I actually had to lie down. Ed was amazed too… we couldn’t believe it.

Ed, who currently owns and runs a coffee shop, said:

I’m not one to believe in miracles – the story changed my life.

The couple also recreated the photo that the mother sent to them, however, Heidi, the girl in the pic above, has no memory of making a friend named Ed.

She said:

From the photos [it looks like] we had been spending an awful lot of time together while we were on holiday. He told his parents and they dug out images of him on the same holiday. He looks really different whereas I look the same. I remember being in kids club, that’s where I must have met him, and setting up a nail varnish stall outside with my sisters. I actually think we painted Ed’s nails.

Other pictures that were shared on social media show Heidi and her sisters burying the sister of Ed in the sand that was present on the beach.

The couple got married in 2016.

Heidi says she loves telling people how they met 2 times.

I’m not crying, you are!
