Imagine having an amazing hiding spot from the police and just giving it away because you could not hold in your fart.
Well, you don’t have to imagine this anymore because it happened in Nottinghamshire on May 7, 2020.
A fugitive that was trying to evade the police by hiding himself in the bushes managed to blow (pun intended) his own cover because he farted too loudly.
The man, whose identity was not shared with the public, had been hiding in a wooded area that was close to Harworth, Nottinghamshire, in the early hours of May 7, 2020, as the police did their best to find him.
Wanted man almost gone with the wind:A trump gave away a wanted man’s hiding place after a foot chase through some…
But the man gave away his hiding place after he farted.
This allowed the suspect, who is wanted for 2 crimes, to be arrested by the police and being brought to the Mansfield Custody.
PC Fenton of the Nottinghamshire Police said:
I was almost out of wind running but luckily the suspect still had some. I heard him letting rip and followed the noises to a bush.
The unnamed suspect was arrested by the police along with another man, who had been found hiding behind a fireplace at a nearby property.
The Nottinghamshire Police said that they arrested the 35-year-old man after failure to appear at the court.
The other 30-year-old man was arrested in relation to the other matter.
For all the criminals out there, better poop or learn how to hold in a fart.
