A 21-year-old husband was so angry about his wife being pregnant for the third time that he ended up slitting his wife’s throat while they were in the middle of an intimate session.

Marcelo Araujo, the 21-year-old husband, confessed to using a razor blade to slash his pregnant wife’s throat while they were having sex.

Marcelo, who is from Varzea Paulista, Brazil, had a row with his wife about them having another baby before the incident.

According to the police, Marcelo admitted during questioning that he killed his 22-year-old wife after they rowed about her becoming pregnant for the third time.

Marcelo killed Francine dos Santos, his wife, when they were having sex.

The couple already had 2 children, a daughter, who’s 4 years old and a 2-year-old son.

Marcelo reportedly told his wife that he didn’t want any more children.

Marcelo said he hated the financial burden that was placed on him, considering the fact that he was only 21.

The suspect was found with serious injuries after the crime.

According to the Sao Paulo police, he had cuts on his neck and wrists.

The police said he tried to commit suicide after committing the crime.

Investigators said that the admission came after 6 weeks of interrogation during which the accused gave several versions of what happened.

The detectives said Marcelo claimed that on December 22, 2019, the couple started to discuss plans for their family’s Christmas dinner but things went south after they talked about pregnancy.

Shortly after the disagreement, the pair appeared to resolve their differences and headed for the bedroom.

During the intimate session, the suspect stabbed his wife with a knife several times before slashing her throat with a blade.

The wife of Marcelo was a make-up artist.
