‘Around 7-8 Men Raped Us In A Day Sometimes’, Says Women Rescued From Saudi Diplomat’s House

The two women were rescued from the diplomat’s apartment in Caitriona Towers, Ambience Lagoon on Monday night. A diplomat from Saudi Arabia is among those booked for gangrape and wrongful confinement after two women — a woman, 44, and her daughter, 20, from Nepal — were rescued from his residence in Gurgaon after a police raid.

The victims have alleged that they were first taken to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia where they were made to perform household chores and were raped there. The women were hired as domestic help but were kept as a hostage and repeatedly gang raped over a period of more than four months.

They claimed that the diplomat also took them to other places, including Nainital and Agra, where they were introduced to other ‘guests’ and subjected to further sexual assault.

Saudi Diplomat Booked for ‘Raping’ 2 Nepali Domestic Helps for 4 Months:

While speaking to Indian Express one of the victims said, ‘“There were days when seven to eight men — all from Saudi Arabia — would assault us. If we resisted, the diplomat and his family would threaten to kill us and dispose of our bodies in the sewer.” She claimed that on one occasion, the diplomat had even slashed her on the arm with a knife.

Reports said a case against the diplomat and “unknown people” has been registered at the DLF-2 police station under sections of gang-rape (376 D), rape (376), unnatural sex (377) and some other sections of Indian Penal Code including 342, 323 and 120B. No arrest has been made so far.
