Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra are finally going to tie the knot on 29th October after being in a relationship for several years. Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra wedding rituals will take place in Hotel Club Cabana, Phagwara, Phagwara which is around 20 km from Jalandhar-Harbhajan’s hometown. The marriage ceremony is witnessing the pre-wedding events which include sangeet, a mehandi ceremony and reception.

Pictures of Geeta Basra’s Mehendi ceremony started trending on Twitter. Geeta looks absolutely stunning in this pink and lime yellow coloured lehenga as she wraps her arm around the man of her dreams. She accessorized the look with a headgear and dangling jhumkas. Seen in the picture with his would-be bride, the 35-year-old Harbhajan kept it simple and casual. The happiness can be seen in their dazzling smiles.

It’s going to be a grand 5-day high-profile wedding. The wedding cards have been sent out earlier. The wedding invitation card looked more like a box with a bright red colored outer covering which opened to a box of sweets. The card also has letters H and G written on a shiny golden metal plate.

Harbhajan’s Sherwani will be designed by Raghavendra Rathore and Geeta’s ceremonial dresses by Archana Kochhar and Babita Malkani. Harbhajan will be seen wearing a dark blue velvet achkan with embroidery. Meanwhile, Geeta will be matching her outfits with Harbhajan. She will be seen wearing a traditional red and gold colored lehenga. Geeta has opted for Ghaghara’s for all other ceremonies like Sangeet, Mehendi, Wedding and Reception. In rituals conducted in Gurudwara, Harbhajan will sport a peach colored kurta.

The couple has been dating for a few years but has chosen to stay mum about their relationship status. Harbhajan and Geeta Basra Wedding could be the most exciting and lavish wedding of this year 2015.

This beautiful couple’s wedding is the third high-profile wedding taking place in the Indian cricket after Suresh Raina marrying childhood friend Priyanka Chaudhary and wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik marrying to squash player Dipika Pallikal.
