Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ 1st Day Collection At Box Office Is Freaking Insane!

Now the most talked about topic in South India is Rajinikanth’s “KABALI”. The movie which hit the theaters on July 22 is leaving no stones unturned with its breaking records. And we aren’t surprised one bit. Because, when the Thalaiva makes a film, how can we expect it not to do so?

Like before every release of his, the Rajini mania has gripped India and even some countries where he has fans, like the UK, US, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan.  The fan frenzy for Rajinikanth seems to know no bounds, as we have seen how the offices in Bangalore and Chennai declared a holiday on its release day.

Kabali has now set a record in box office collections. Can you believe that the film has earned whopping 40 CRORES (approximately) in just ONE day of its release? Yes, it did. Analysts predict the film to earn approximately Rs. 120 Crores over the weekend. That’s literally the lifetime collection of any big banner film!

The film released in more than 12,000 screens across India, as well as in the UK and Malaysia has also set new benchmarks in the USA and Canada by earning a whopping Rs. 12.93 cr. in preview shows. It even dominated the box office collections in the international market emerging as number 1 in Malaysia, number 3 in USA-Canada and number 10 in the UK.

The film made on a budget of Rs. 100 crore has already earned about Rs. 225 crore from the sales of theatrical, audio, satellite rights, etc.

Meanwhile, “Kabali” has opened to mixed reviews but one Rajinikanth is enough to make up for it with his stellar performance. Now all we can say is, Kabali isn’t any ‘regular’ film. It’s literally the RAJINIKANTH of films.
