Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma Spotted Shopping In South Africa, Twitter Trolls The Newlyweds Seeing 50% Banner Behind Them
There was one thing that had taken over all our timelines over the last few weeks and it is Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s wedding. Both tied the knot in a private ceremony with family and a few friends in attendance in Tuscany, Italy. And the wedding was one of the most romantic, dreamy and fairytale-like weddings of 2017.
The couple looked absolutely gorgeous wearing stunning outfits designed by the Sabyasachi. Not only for the wedding, the couple wore the outfits designed by Sabyasachi in all other events kicked off after their weddings like two receptions in New Delhi and Mumbai.
While Anushka looked breathtakingly resplendent in a blush pink lehenga, Virat looked handsome in a color-coordinated bandhgala outfit in the wedding. Now just when the nation couldn’t get over how great the couple looked in all their wedding functions, the most bizarre thing happened.
Now, after the wedding celebrations, Virat Kohli and team flew to South Africa for a long series. The Indian team started off with their preparations for the most important series against South Africa. With a cheerful record in the country, the Men in Blue will aim to overturn their fortunes and register a win.
The No-1 Test team will take on the second-ranked Proteas that promises to be a tough contest to establish their domination. A few days prior to the start of the Test series, newlyweds Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma took some time out to go shopping in Cape Town.
The duo had taken a day off, to pick up a few items, a picture of which had surfaced on Twitter.
The social media fans went crazy, not by watching the two engage in shopping, but by the ’50 percent’ banner which showed big, behind them.

The first Test of the tour is scheduled to be played in Cape Town. Meanwhile, India will head into the first Test without playing a practice game in the South African conditions. Earlier in December, India’s two-day practice match at Eurolux Boland Park ahead of the series, was canceled by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
However, to get the team acclimatized to South African conditions, the Men in Blue will have their practice sessions at Western Province Cricket Club. Following the three-match Test series, the two sides will head in for the limited-overs format – six ODIs and three T20Is.
As for the actress, she will be back in Mumbai in the first week of January, to begin with, the next schedule of Aanand L Rai’s film alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
