Animal rights activists shot horrible images and videos that showed monkeys and dogs suffering from abuse at a German Laboratory.

The horrible images and videos were released by Soko Tierschutz and Cruelty-Free International, an animal rights organization based in Germany.

The organization claims the monkeys were strapped into metal harnesses and were being kept in tiny containers at a lab in Mienenbüttel in Neu Wulmstorf, Lower Saxony.

According to the organization, cats and dogs in the facility are left to die after a toxicity testing that is done on them.

The footage was obtained by an undercover worker, who is a member of the animal rights organization.

The worker was working at the lab after the LPT Laboratory of Pharmacology and Toxicology put out an advert for new employees in Autumn 2018.

Friedrich Mülln, a member of the Soko Tierschutz and Cruelty-Free International, said they tried to get a job at the lab in 2013, but they were unsuccessful at the time.

The undercover investigator reportedly worked at the lab from December 2018 to March 2019.

The Soko Tierschutz and Cruelty-Free International reports that the undercover animal rights activist saw toxicology testing on monkeys, which includes cats, rabbits, monkeys, and dogs.

The group also claimed that the animals were being kept in horrific conditions.

Beagles at the lab were reportedly left behind to bleed out and die after experiments were done on them.

Friedrich said, “The animals were even still waggling their tails when they were being taken to be killed, the dogs were desperate for human contact.”

Friedrich added that the worst treatment was with the monkeys, who were strapped to seats in rows along the wall as others had their heads in restraints.

He said the monkeys did a lot of things to escape the restraints and screamed in pain.

Friedrich continued, “The worst treatment was kept for the monkeys. The macaques breed of monkeys are small, relatively light primates, which are often used for animal experiments at LPT. They are kept in cramped conditions in small cages. Many of the animals have developed compulsive tendencies and are seen going round in circles.”

The cats were reportedly given 13 injections per day.

The animal rights group has reported the case to the police.

An investigation has been launched.

The Soko Tierschutz and Cruelty-Free International is also calling for laws in Germany, that should protect animals.
