A man from Brazil did it!

A Brazilian lad ended up marrying himself in an elaborate ceremony after the bride to be ended up breaking ties with him.

According to local reports, Dr. Diogo Rabelo and Dr. Vitor Bueno got engaged in November of 2019 and had a wedding date set, but it changed.

In July, Bueno decided to call off the relationship after a bunch of arguments that happened from the months of November of last year to the month of July this year.

They must fight a lot eh.

With everything ready, Bueno called off the wedding and canceled everything.

But the other partner was something else.

Diogo Rabelo decided that he would go ahead with the wedding as planned by marrying himself.

Yes, you read that right, the man married himself!

On October 17, 2020, Rabelo hosted a wedding party at a luxury resort in Itacare, which is located in the state of Bahia, which is located in the northern area of Brazil.

Around 40 people attended the unusual ceremony that Diogo had set up amidst this coronavirus pandemic.

The best thing about this is that the Doctor said that he was happy. He also said that the day when he married himself is one of the best days that he had ever experienced in life!

Talking about marrying himself, Dr. Rabelo said:

Today is one of the happiest days of my life, since I am with the people I love the most in this life, celebrating what could be a tragedy, but I turned it into a comedy.

Images that were shared on social media shows the doctor celebrating his wedding.

It was reported that he carried out the wedding with his family and close friends.

In a post that he made on social media, he said that people helped him overcome a low phase of his life when he was left alone.

He also thanked his former girlfriend and wished her well.

The doctor said:

I respect you… I want you to be free to go where you want and to stay where you want.
