As per the sources, the team has been stationed here for more than three weeks to shoot for an action sequence. “We had a plan and we went to action director Kenny Bates two year back. Kenny came to Abu Dhabi for recce and he loved the location. He wanted to shoot everything live. Almost 90 percent of whatever that we are going to show on screen is real. He wanted to show the real cars. He wanted the real cars to fly,” said Prabhas.

“We crashed around 27 cars and five trucks. We wanted everything real instead of going for CGI as it gives a real impact. Generally, you have 70 percent CG and 30 percent real but over here in Abu Dhabi, we opted for a more real shoot. This will be something that no one has seen before,” he added while talking to the UAE media.

Later, the producer of the movie, later on, confirmed that they actually crash 37 cars and not 27. Popular Hollywood stunt director Kenny Bates got attracted towards the access that Abu Dhabi gave to big bridges, tall building, infrastructures and beautiful roads. They shot the film mostly in the city and very little in the desert. Prabhas said that he feels very grateful that the authorities agreed to stop the activities in the bridges before giving it away for the movie shoot. He also told that his co-star Shraddha Kapoor was part of the action sequence as well.

For Saaho, Prabhas shed some tremendous kilos, said, “I don’t want to a warrior look for every film. So I changed my diet and exercise routine to prepare for this character,”
