Hum Aapke Hai Koun is an evergreen Bollywood movie which grossed over 1billion$ worldwide. It is a musical Romantic movie starring Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan in the lead roles who decide to sacrifice their love for their family but destiny doesn’t let them split. Salman Khan’s aunt in the movie wanted him to marry Rita and this is what she looks like after 24 years.

Sahila Chadha plays the role of Rita and she was the title winner of Miss India and won 25other contests before it. Sahila acted over 50films with superstars like Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Govinda, Sanjay Dutt. But her character in the movie Hum Aapke Hai Koun is widely appreciated by the audience. She later on married actor Nimai Bali and the couple is blessed with a daughter.

She looks completely changed after her marriage and lost her looks along with her charm. She called it quits to acting after her daughter’s birth and stayed at home to take care of her kid but Bollywood lost a star when she bid adieu to her acting performances.

Hum Aapke Hai Koun is a movie which celebrates love and sacrifice and emotions. The movie is directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Salman Khan plays the role of Prem in the movie while Madhuri Dixit plays the role of Nisha. They meet each other during their sibling’s marriage and instantly fall for each other. They later unite once again as Nisha comes to be with her sister during her pregnancy and their love story kicks in completely.

Nisha’s sister realizes the fact that Prem and Nisha are in love and hence vows to get them married but dies in an unfortunate accident as she falls from stairs. Nisha takes cares of her sister’s baby and the family decides to get her married to Prem’s brother for the sake of the baby. Nisha and Prem stay mum for the future of the baby as they feel it’s more important than their love.

During the marriage ceremony, Prem’s brother gets to know their sacrifice and hence decides to get her married to prem instead of him. Later on, with their parent’s consent, Nisha and Prem marry each other which leads to the happy ending of the movie. This movie is dubbed in various languages and is one of the biggest hits in Salman Khan and Madhuri’s career. This movie has 11 songs, which are the highest number of songs till date in the Bollywood movies.
