Mithali Raj Overshadowed Shah Rukh Khan With Her Stunning New Look On Vogue 10th Anniversary Cover
Vogue India, a popular fashion and lifestyle magazine was founded in 2007. It was the 17th international edition of Vogue and the first edition in South Asia. Vogue India was the first magazine released in India that is completed owned by a Foreign company.
As Vogue India marked its 10th anniversary, the celebrations had to be grand. Thus, Vogue India made it a triple celebration for them by releasing new covers. Vogue released three explosive covers for their October 2017 issue, star-studded and ultra glamorous.
The three Vogue covers for October 2017 features celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Twinkle Khanna, Karan Johar, Padma Lakshmi, Natalia Vodianova, Mithali Raj and Nita Ambani striking a pose. All the covers talk about the women of the year and the men we love.
The first Vogue cover featured Twinkle Khanna, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar.
The next Vogue October 2017 cover is a rather international cover with Padma Lakshmi, Priyanka Chopra and Natalia Vodianova striking a pose.
The last but not the least, the third cover of Vogue India October 2017 features Mithali Raj posing with Shah Rukh Khan and Nita Ambani.
Mithali Dorai Raj, cricketer and the captain of the Indian Women’s cricket team in Tests and one-day internationals looked tantalizing on the cover. Mithali Raj is at her glamorous best, wearing a Johanna Ortiz jumpsuit.
The one-shoulder jumpsuit has a bow detail around the bust. Softly blow-dried hair and sultry makeup rounds off her look. From the wide array of stars that are on the cover, Mithali’s inclusion may not come as a surprise considering the rise of women’s cricket in recent past due to India’s foray into the final of the Women’s World Cup.
The skipper of the team has since anchored the side in various meets. She has also hit back at moral police on social media to earn herself plenty of applause. While Nita Ambani is seen in a lace blouse by Elie Saab paired with Valentino lace trousers. Shah Rukh Khan looks rather handsome between the two ladies in a black tuxedo by Raison D’Etre.
