‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ Crew To Re-Shoot The Whole Series Replacing 9-Year-Old With A Grown-Up Man
In a bid to part its ways from the controversies and the public backlash, the popular television series ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki’ has taken a crucial move. Sources claim that the production department is all set to replace the 9-Year-Old young Afaan Khan with a new face who looks elder than the boy and younger than the actress.
We all know the role TV series play in our daily life, with the extensive hours we spend on them, they somehow show an inevitable influence on us, they are the vital source of entertainment, a sigh of relief for those who return home from a busy-day work. So, it is always better to choose the best of available, be it series or movie, anything that is unethical must be swept off our environment.
It is the advent of TV series titled “Pehredaar Pyar Ki” that ruptured the soothing journey of Indian Television, the story line, plots, and posters are out and they once for all stunned the netizens and common people. With the very complicated visuals in the posters featuring a young woman married to an approximately 10-Year-Old boy, every poster is quite disturbing to many.
Well, with the scenes that are allegedly promoting child marriage and showcasing the romantic sequences between a 9-yr boy and 19-yr lady who got married in unfavorable circumstances is absolutely absurd. On the top of all of that, the suhaagraat and honeymoon sequences led people in demanding the full ban.
After BCCC’s critical actions in the series like the imposition of the time-slot change and censoring it, the crew now finally made some major decisions. These changes are for good for everyone, they assumed. They decided to reshoot the whole series with a grown up man. It is believed that the story will take a 12-year leap now.
Amidst these many legal problems, a source from the department has said, “We have been looking for actors to play the part of the 21-year-old prince. Since the time we spread the word, we have been getting a lot of applications. Interested candidates have been sending their tapes for the audition as well.
However, it is very obvious that the new-found-actor should be younger than the lead actress Tejaswi. The auditions are on, and the creators were quoted saying that they already started receiving sample tapes from the interested candidates.
They concluded, “It will be great if we get a fresh face. Whoever is showing interest is being asked to perform a scene from the show. Since the show went on air in July, the leap will be shown in October. So unlike what is being been said, we have not planned the leap to put an end to the criticism around the show.”
After all the legal issues, anyway, it is pretty good that the creators are doing something that won’t create friction in the process. Let us see who will replace the young Afaan Khan.
