After PV Sindhu, Olympic Gold Medalist Abhinav Bindra’s Biopic Is On The Table, Check Out Lead Actor!
Biopics are the new-age sensations, in terms of box-office collections and enormous awards. Starting from Sushant Singh Rajput, Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar, many actors concreted their positions in the Bollywood industry solely making biopics of the stories of successful people. We all know the impact Aamir Khan’s Dangal has inside and outside India.
Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor is now gearing up to make a biopic, looks like he’s following the footsteps of his sister Sonam Kapoor who played the role of Neerja Bhanot in Neerja biopic for which she bagged a National Award.
The actor who made his debut with Rakeysh Om Prakash Mishra’s ‘Mirziya’ has some bad beginnings as the movie bagged a mere Rs 9.5 crores in spite of its Rs 35 crore budget.
Now, coming to the center of the topic, Harshvardhan confirmed that he would star in a biopic of Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra, in an Instagram post he shared in which both actor and Olympian are seen having some good time.
Just before that biopic, Harshvardhan will now appear in Vikramaditya Motwane’s Bhavesh Joshi.
In the picture he shared on the Instagram, he quoted the picture: “Beginnings are very special. Especially when you get to play a character that has made the nation proud on the world stage. I am stoked to have been chosen to play #AbhinavBindra and hopefully will do justice to the man, the legend!”

There is news on Anil Kapoor playing Bindra’s father role, which means both father and son will be seen together for the first time. However, talking about this, Anil Kapoor said:
“It’s too early to speak about the Abhinav Bindra film. Once everything is finalized, I’ll talk about it. But talks are on. If God wishes, we (Harshvardhan and me) will do a film together and it could be this one. I am very excited to work with him, but it is too early to speak about it.”
We all the honor and glory Abhinav Bindra has brought for the country. He won a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, post the 2016 Rio, the player announced his retirement officially.
