SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali – The Conclusion has created a history in the Indian cinema and has become a benchmark film at the worldwide box office, by collecting over Rs 1000 crore in just 10 days.

Currently, the whole country is in a ‘Bahubali Storm’. It must be said that this South Indian director has already raised the bars of movie making quite amusingly and breathtakingly at the same time.

Yes, the entire nation is raving about SS Rajamouli’s creative mind and his perfect execution. This film has not just managed to break box office records but it has even won millions of hearts.

And now, director Rajamouli who is riding high on the extraordinary success of Baahubali: The Conclusion will soon start shooting for his next big-budgeted movie. And there is a talk that the director might cast either Ranveer Singh or Prabhas in the said project.

Yes, sources close to the filmmaker revealed that the maverick director is considering casting either his Baahubali hero Prabhas or Bajirao Mastani actor Ranveer Singh in his next mega project. Yes, you heard it right!

Rajamouli is confused whether Prabhas or Ranveer Singh should be roped in for next project. Rajamouli, who headed for a small vacay after the release of Baahubali 2 will be back from his vacation and start writing the script for his next film. The film that will be in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi will be a trilingual fantasy adventure film.

A source told Telugu Cinema:  

“The film will take another year to go on floors. So Rajamouli has plenty of time on his hands to take a call on casting. Rajamouli is impressed with Ranveer Singh’s recent work. He believes that Ranveer fits the bill perfectly for his next movie.“

We agree Ranveer would be a good choice considering Rajamouli has a similar vision as Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the latter surely can’t get enough of Ranveer’s acting talents.

While Prabhas and Rajamouli’s partnership has had a success rate of 100%, Ranveer’s latest work has impressed the filmmaker to an extent that this choice has become a really difficult one. Rajamouli, who is both professionally and personally fond of Prabhas thinks that casting him would be a safer option.

The source added,

“Prabhas is planning to complete two movies shortly. Prabhas will be next seen in action thriller Saaho.

Rajamouli feels that if he works with Prabhas again it would do wonders in trade circles and he may not have to worry about the budget.“

Rajamouli was reportedly making a small movie after Baahubali 2, but word has it that he has dropped the idea and wants his next movie to be as big as Baahubali or maybe even bigger in terms of budget.

Whether Ranveer or Prabhas would be finalized, time will tell but we have full faith in Rajamouli.
