Finally, Gurmeher Kaur Has Responded To Randeep Hooda’s Tweet And It Merely Sounds Confused
It has been a week now, the Cargill Martyr-Mandeep’s Daughter-Gurmehar Kaur’s video is making rounds on social media. Starting with the witty reply from cricketer Virender Sehwag, the ace actor Randeep Hooda, wrestler Babita Phogat joined the counter side.
Later, the popular wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt has joined the trio’s hands against Kaur’s ideologies.
Gurmeher now made a comeback by responding to actor Randeep Hooda’s comment, she broke her earlier statement in which she mentioned that she’s giving up on this issue and another fight in which she’s against ABVP.
In her response, she said: “I didn’t tweet my hands did.”
Meanwhile, “It wasn’t gendered specific. I was and I am against the politicisation of personal opinions. There was an axe to grind and considering the environment in the country vis-a-vis women, in hindsight, I do believe I should have been more careful,” Hooda said.
Many netizens lauded Gurmeher’s response, quoting it as a witty, smart and timely one. Meanwhile, some stated that her comeback tweet is an effort made to remain in the spotlight.
