OMG! SONY To Replace Kapil’s Show With New Sunil Grover Show? Here’s What Media Reports Say!
It seems like 2017 is not in favor with comedy king Kapil Sharma, as he is in news and sadly, for all the wrong reasons. After misbehaving with Sunil Grover on a recent Australia-India flight, Kapil has been receiving a lot of flak.
Yes, Kapil Sharma is not a happy man these days, his war of words with Sunil has proved to be quite costly. Problems are pouring in one after the other, and there’s no relief for Kapil.
The absence of Sunil Grover has led to a negative impact on “The Kapil Sharma Show”, the ratings of his show have considerably dropped because the gigs aren’t as funny as before. Fans are missing their favorite stars and want them back at any cost.
However, media has come up with new reports which will make you worried. Now, there are claims that Sony TV is planning to pull of Kapil’s show and replace it with that of Sunil Grover’s.
Yes, Sony Entertainment Television might pull the plug on The Kapil Sharma Show (TKSS) and replace it with a brand new show featuring Sunil Grover in the lead have started emerging.
A leading source DNA quoted SONY channel saying that,
“They are terribly disappointed with how much bad press the entire Kapil Sharma episode has brought to the channel and the show. The ratings have dipped way more than what they thought it would and they are mostly not signing Kapil anymore. In fact, they might pull plugs on The Kapil Sharma Show once and for all.”
Sony TV has plans of investing in a new show (Sunil Grover’s) and talks for the same are going on. There are also speculations that Sunil Grover has been approached by Colors for a new show; however, the comedian hasn’t accepted the offer yet.
DNA reported,
“Sony has rights to his characters — Rinku bhabi and Dr Mashoor Gulati— and they also earn a chunk of money from his live shows where he performs in his avatars…So they might have a show with these characters.”
However, neither Kapil and Sunil have spoken on the subject.
